Superman Returns’ Producer to Pay $3 Million in Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

When the movie, Superman Returns, failed to become a blockbuster, some people were disappointed despite this movie being pretty good. Not many people liked the new turn of events in the movie (but there were many positive aspects), like having Kate Bosworth play Lois Lane for one, and Jon Peters, the producer took plenty of flak for it. Moreover, a sexual harassment case that has been going on for five years has finally reached culmination and Peters has been ordered to pay up. He may have to pay up but Superman Returns was certainly better than Superman 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Morita Wins!

Shelly Morita worked as a personal assistant to plenty of famous people including Jennifer Connelly before she took up employment with Jon Peters. She hired sexual harassment lawyers after Superman Returns was shot claiming that the producer got too fresh with her on the sets and even crawled into her bed at night. Well, this is probably further indication he realized he made a mistake with Bosworth.

Oh Well

Her sexual harassment lawyers mounted a convincing case based on the evidence provided by Morita and the jury veered toward her. This has resulted in a judgment against Peters who has been asked to pay Morita $822,000 in lost wages and a further $2.5 million in punitive damages.

Too Bad

Morita quit working with Peters before she hired sexualharassment lawyers to obtain justice against a man who tried to fondle her and even picked her up in a bear hug when he was completely naked. Needless to say, his inappropriate attention was not welcome. Peters intends to appeal the judgment but it might be a vain attempt. His history is checkered with such obnoxious stories and that may be held against him. Too bad, this could be the reason why another Kevin Spacey/Brandon Routh Superman has not arrived.

Their three year long relationship had everyone fooled but Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter have finally decided to call it quits. When the Charlie’s Angels star Kelly hooked up with New York Yankees shortstop, no one expected their relationship to last this long.

Jeter has entered back into the singles world. The New York Yankees player has had his choice of women open to him. Brett Favre of the New York Jets may have made a name playing a different sport from Jeter but his playboy ways have had his fans hang their heads in shame. In fact, Favre has had sexual harassment lawyers jumping down his throat! Favre made a spectacle of himself last season which is not surprising to anyone since he really did not want to play. What is even more pathetic is that his team flew down to Mississippi to convince him to play. Not knowing he was going to suck and add to his all-time record of interceptions and send stupid pictures to some young hot Jet’s employee.

Favre is not a Good Husband

His debaucheries came to light after Jet’s girl Jenn Sterger threatened to hire sexual harassment lawyers against him. She stated that he was responsible for sending her lewd text messages and inappropriate behavior when he was around her. Before NFL could do much more than slap his wrist, more cases were brought to their attention. While Derek Jeter is a ladies’ man, he is also not a circus like Favre. Minka and he have parted on amicable terms and still care about each other deeply.
