Daphne Guinness, the Couture Collection, and Sexual Harassment Lawyers

One of the most renowned women of fashion in the world is Daphne Guinness, and her huge array of high designer clothes is a collection that is simply stunning. Her collection is worth its weight in gold and actually a lot more. In fact, even the salaries of some of the finest and most lucrative sexual harassment attorneys cannot match what these clothes are worth.

The Icon of Fashion

Eccentric may be termed in some ways for how Guinness makes and bases her collections.  The range of clothes is assumed to be the best on the market, and it seems to give people this assumption or an idea of obsessiveness that is not seen in many collections. Sexual harassment lawyers know all about this. They have to be obsessive and work hard for their clients because many times it is them against the system. A system that has an entrenched culture where certain behaviors are allowed despite it being the 21st century. Sometimes it takes serious blows from a hardened hammer to break down this concrete barrier.

An exhibit has been sponsored by the heiress, and it will be displayed until the end of the year or perhaps until the beginning of the first few weeks of January. These are merely desirable clothes that are befitting her style, but will be seen by many as quite out of the ordinary. In 2010, she bought the wardrobe of Isabella Blow, stating that she did not want to put those wonderful clothes down to waste. She recognizes that she is not the only one with a sense of style.

Time for Charity

Well, for the most revealing clothes in the collection, it seems women wearing them might need sexual harassment lawyers to defend them because of their sensual and enticing appeal. In addition and regardless of the Guinness eccentricity to fashion, she still remains an advocate for charity work.

Massachusetts General Election Campaign Steams up with Elizabeth Warren’s Entry

Republican Senator Scott Brown has seen plenty of unanimous support being directed his way. With the general elections nigh, Elizabeth Warren has made a bid for the Democratic Party nomination to the U.S. Senate and the general elections might turn into a battleground soon. It should be an easy decision for most people and for the sake of the country’s future and certainly this states, Brown needs to win.

Earning the Trust of the People of Massachusetts

The people of Massachusetts will soon be spoiled for choice. Elizabeth Warren has put forward her candidacy on the premise that Washington does not understand the problems of the people in Massachusetts and she wants to be the one to bring the matter to attention. Brown has been doing a good job but his affiliation with people like Ryan C. Fattman has made matters worse for him. Brown spoke for Fattman at a fundraiser which raised the ire of sexual harassment lawyers and the police. Fattman is notorious for his comment that rape victims and victims of sexual harassment will have to rethink their position to approach lawyers or the police if they happen to be illegal aliens in the country. This was not a good thing to say but the statements Warren is responsible for and her high tax and socialist beliefs are not what made this country standout.

Too many Regulations

Every person who has been wronged and sexually harassed should have the right to approach sexual harassment lawyers and higher authorities. Fattman’s statement was heavily criticized and many quarters argued that people who were illegal aliens and had suffered sexual assault, rape, or harassment might actually hesitate before calling sexual harassment lawyers due to what he said. Fattman retracted the statement and tried to spin it in a positive light but not many bought it. Brown will have to steer clear of such negative publicity if he intends to successfully defeat Warren in a state that is suffering because of the agenda that Warren has supported.

Jessica Simpson Denies Breast Reduction Surgery Rumor and Sexual Harassment Lawyers Involvement

Jessica Simpson’s assets are here to stay as per the diva herself. She denies any breast reduction surgery plans and says that she is more than happy with the way she looks. That is wonderful news because if she cannot act that well and apparently she does not want to sing any more, she better be careful with those. She does not want to be a skinny woman like Heidi Klum with nothing to say for it.

Simpson & NFL Star Eric Johnson to Marry

Eric Johnson will soon be a very lucky man as Simpson as he plans to wed sometime before the end of 2011; though the wedding date is a closely guarded secret. There was plenty of ado about a pizza advertisement that Jessica lent her name and looks to. The ad shows her coming on to a pizza delivery boy because of the quality of the pizzas being delivered. Her actions would have been beacons for sexual harassment lawyers if the situation were to have taken place in real life.

Both Ways

The idea that only women face sexual harassment is so passé. In her new movie Horrible Bosses(which is hilarious), Jennifer Aniston drives the truth home. Men also call upon sexual harassment lawyers due to inappropriate behavior on the part of bosses and other colleagues.

A Publicity Stunt

More and more cases of sexual harassment have been reported lately and sexual harassment lawyers have had their hands full. Just because the person making inappropriate advances of a sexual nature may be as beautiful as Jessica Simpson or Jennifer Aniston, does not make the whole situation acceptable in any way. Simpson laughed about the advertisement as well as the breast reduction rumors saying that all of it was simply much ado over nothing.

University of Maryland & its Sexual Harassment Collaboration

Rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment are some of the most heinous crimes that can ever be perpetrated. Thankfully, there are a lot of programs & initiatives that have been undertaken by various agencies, bodies, and universities in collaboration across America. One such highly acclaimed initiative is the between Rape & Sexual Assault Prevention Program or RSAPP in association with University of Maryland (UM) and its many departments.

A Two Pronged Approach

Many sexual harassment attorneys who are familiar with the rising numbers of such cases as well as with the above mentioned initiative say that the approach taken by RSAPP and the university is highly commendable. Unlike many piece-meal and ad hoc programs, the initiative has tackled the issue quite strategically.

A Different Type of Education

One part of the program consists of a school-based component while the other has a much broader community-orientation to it. Sexual harassment attorneys point out that as teasing, bullying, date violence, sexual abuse, as well as rape affects the lives of the young, a program that is specifically tailored to the student community is indeed crucial. This school-based sexual assault and harassment prevention program would indeed come as a blessing to many students who have to face such humiliation. It is a comprehensive educational and prevention program to highlight the crime and help others avoid it.

The Underlining Theme

The other component is the wider community based one. Apart from hotline services, educational seminars, training programs, as well as instructional print materials, RSAPP, in association with the human resources department of the UM, also provides financial grants and support to eighteen rape recovery centers across Maryland. The program also highlights the rights of the victims through education, program assistance, as well as legislation on a statewide level. Sexual harassment attorneys who fight on behalf of their clients say that such programs by reputed bodies and educational centers go a long way in tacking the menace of sexual crimes both at an individual as well as at the community level.

Survey & Sexual Harassment

Although sexual harassment incidents aren’t a rarity in America, however the real extent of the problem is staggering. Surveys conducted by various bodies and organizations across the country reveal quite shocking facts and figures. One thing which is certain is that unlike what many citizens might have thought sexual harassment is rampant. And according to most reports many such cases are not even brought to light.

Facts and Figures

Authorities have revealed that a shocking 60% of all cases related to sexual assault are not reported to the cops. And sexual harassment lawyers tend to agree. They say that it is mostly just a few individuals who undergo such humiliation that actually seek legal assistance to fight for justice. Now, if that is the case, it is indeed very tragic. And authorities say that it is not due to the lack of encouragement on the part of the officials concerned. Every legal help and protection is accorded to the victim willing to come out in the open, they maintain.

Getting Away with It

It has also been revealed that about 44% of sexual harassment victims are under the age of 18. Now, that is indeed alarming. Sexual harassment lawyers who are in the front to bring the issue to public focus say that they are helpless because most of the time the victims for some reason or the other refuse to seek help themselves. However, with effort and pro-activity on their part is on to help such minor victims and bring the culprits to justice.

Violent Rapists should be Executed

Moreover, 80% of sexual harassment victims are women under the age of 30. And as far as the rate of sexual assault in the country is concerned, it is one every 2 minutes. And finally, here is another shocking fact, it has also been reported that around two-third of such harassment or assaults are actually committed by individuals known or close to the victim.  Astonishing and alarming as the facts & figures are, the message is unmistakably clear. If you are a victim or know someone who is, then the most important and necessary decision that you need to make is to report the crime to the authorities and seek legal help and guidance from sexual harassment lawyers.
